Sorry for the lack of posting. I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement while working at Motorcycle News and part of that document said I wouldn’t work on any competing websites while I was there. I’m sure they didn’t mean ‘no posting on a silly blog about bikes’ but I thought it would be best to leave off posting for a bit just to be safe.
In any event not much has been happening on the motorbike front. On Christmas Eve an old chum of my dad turned up to say hello and show my brother and I a catalogue and metal plate thing from some motorcycle event that had been held in California. Once you see the photo you will understand why.
- Look it’s dad!
I wonder if I can make it to the next one, I’ll have a dig around.

Interesting blog… hope you reach your dream bike in time for the next riding season….
The non-disclosure agreement should only hold if you were to “post” the exact articles up here, no?
Obviously you are back so the outcome must have been in your favour.

The non-disclosure agreement was fairly vast in it’s reach so I thought I’d just hold off while I was there to be safe. It’s not the worst contract I’ve ever signed by a long way, when I first started out I signed something that said I wanted to work more hours than was legal and that if I did leave the company I wouldn’t work for a competitor for six months. Thankfully I changed sectors so it wasn’t a problem.

Is there any chance I can get a nice copy/print of that
image? I was saving the image for framing, but my wife threw it away! I used to attend that event prior to it’s demise.
